of eco-fees perceived for all sectors

How is the eco-fee redistributed?

The eco-fee is paid by the consumer upon the purchase of a new appliance/or bulb. It enables collection and recycling operations of household WEEE, Professional WEEE and lamps to be financed.

The eco-fee scale is regularly adjusted to include the increased tonnages to be treated, the increase in logistical and treatment costs as well as the variations in price of materials.

These adjustments are essential for ensuring a financial equilibrium and maintaining quality recycling. All ecosystem activities are carried out within a mission of public interest in accordance with non-profit-making principles.

Eco-design initiatives

In contact with recycling operators on a daily basis, ecosystem teams assist producers in their eco-design projects in order to anticipate the impacts of a product’s the end-of-service life, right from the development and procurement phases, to ensure that their end-of-service life is more environmentally-friendly.
