Environmental review
In order continue to go further in recycling quality ecosystem evaluates the environmental footprint of each stage of the recycling chain (waste transport, depollution, material recycling, etc.). This review shows the environmental benefits of recycling that enable resources to be regenerated. Currently, it covers the entire scope in electrical and electronic household appliances and lamps.
Fighting against global warming
The CO2 emissions avoided equates to 4 348 642 Lille-Marseilles journeys by car!
This indicator quantifies the greenhouse gas emissions avoided thanks to the regeneration of materials and their energy recovery.
Collection enabled the emission of 483,182 tonnes de CO2 to be avoided, i.e. the equivalent of 4.3 billion km in a car or 4.4 billion Lille-Marseille car journeys.

More than 1, 340 000tonnes of CO2 removed thanks to the depollution of equipment containing cooling gases or insulation.
In addition to the CO2 emissions avoided thanks to the regeneration of materials and their recovery, the depollution of equipment containing cooling gases (fridges, air conditioners) enabled high potential global warming gases to be recovered and neutralised.
Collection enables the equivalent of 1, 343 176 tonnes of CO2 to be removed, i.e. the quantity of CP2 absorbed by 112 million trees in a year.

Fighting against the depletion of fossil fuel resources
More than 1 500 000 000 kWh saved!
This indicator evaluates the avoided consumption of oil, coal, gas, etc. thanks to the regeneration of materials and their energy recovery. It then expresses this in terms of the fossil resources depletion in terms of the stocks available and their use.
Collection allows 1.6 billion kWh to be saved, i.e. the energy consumption for heating 345,711 households in France.

Fighting against mineral resource depletion
This indicator evaluates the avoided consumption of minerals (metals, precious metals, rare earth metals, etc.) thanks to the regeneration of materials and their energy recovery. It then expresses this in terms of the mineral depletion in terms of the stocks available and how they are exploited.
Collection enabled 3,6 million tonnes of raw materials to be saved, i.e. the equivalent of mineral resources required to produce 9 150 204 million items of IT equipment.
